Stacy Nelson DVM

Dr. Nelson works in our ER and ICU. She graduated from the University of Florida in 2000, received her MBA in 2005, and obtained Recover CPR certification. Her reason for becoming a veterinarian is simple: she loves helping animals and people. She particularly enjoys providing critical care, because there is never a dull moment.

Dr. Nelson is happily married with 3 children; she’s extremely proud of her family and the people her kids have grown up to be. She also has 5 dogs (Lila, Chili, Penny, Rust, and Leo) and 13 horses. When she’s not working, Dr. Nelson enjoys going cooking, boating, and going to horse shows.
